While beer has never been my number one Drug of Choice, it certainly is in the top ten.

We as a somewhat free society have always embraced liquid drugs. History and literature regularly refer to liquor as a sustaining and defining force of the Human Experience. The abundance of ingredients and the ease of production have produced generation after generation of indulgers.

I think it's a good thing that MLB has an Official Beer. I only wish I could get a decent one at Fenway. Let's hope the new owners address this important fan issue.

The Commissioner of MLB has come up with a scam to eliminate two teams, Minnesota being one of them. Most fans would agree that expansion allowed borderline AAA pitchers into the bigs. Contraction should be considered, but a threat to whack the Twins because the locals won't cough it up for their version of Camden Yards borders on blackmail. And let's face it. Which team geographically would benefit most if the Twins are dumped? Yup the Milwaukee Brewers. Bud's team....I mean his daughter's team.
