So here we go again folks; down the stretch with a lot of work to get done. These Guys seem to be getting into a positon to win. If they do get into position, anything can happen. Let’s face it, Boston is the team nobody wants to face in the post season.

Pedro looks strong, Schilling is as he blows, if the bullpen holds….But as I said there is a lot of work to be done. Maybe These Guys can get it done.

Fucking Red Sox, the soap opera continues. I thought we’d be done with this bullshit when the ownership changed but I guess Boston (New England in general) is what it is. I don’t give a shit about contract negotiations, I don’t care if a player’s feelings get hurt. I want to see and talk about the fucking games, I want to fucking win.

That being said, they traded Nomar for the wrong reasons, which let’s not forget the “reason” could be bullshit, and they didn’t get enough for him. I would have taken my chances and used him and his bat for all it was worth. I can’t imagine him laying down for anything and if he gets (re)injured so what, he’s gone anyway. If he goes free agency we’ll take the draft picks.

He played the game the way it should be played and nobody can ever convince me otherwise. He’s an odd duck, but shit who isn’t? His downfall could be his soccer fetish and his soccer wife. Remember when Nomar use to wear the same cap all year? Damn it look like crap by the middle of the season. Remember when he stopped doing that? Yup, when she came onto the scene.

I’d pay to watch him play any day.

So where the hell have I been? I’ve been to many games this year (19-20?)but I’ve had a terrible time getting wired about it. I watch almost every inning and like most people I expect them to be in it. The 162 games are just a warm up for the playoffs. Crazy shit I know. I’m starting to feel that edge though, I’m ready to get this thing done once and for all.
